GECKO Executive Recruitment attended Sava’s annual Residential Careers Fair last month on Thursday, March 28th. With over 300 delegates and 30 exhibitors in attendance, the conference served as Sava’s third and largest event of its kind. Taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, a wide variety of surveying companies and industry experts, such the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), were present.
Throughout the day, several informative presentations also took place. Two of which were led by Sava’s managing director Austin Baggett, who spoke about their very own Diploma in Residential Surveying & Valuation. A part-time, vocational qualification where any skills taught are practical and immediately relevant to the surveying industry. These were also supplemented by talks on the opportunities available to those in the property industry as well as details on the varied life of a chartered surveyor.
